My two week blog diary...

So this might seem like a bit of a pointless boring post, and I kind of guess it is. I've been trying to keep regular posts coming, but though I better warn you that these next few weeks are going to be a little different. 

I go on holiday at the back end of this week so this week is going to be the whole 'holiday prep' week. For my fellow females, they will appreciate that this means serious business.... Girl about to go from a 3 to a 10 real quick. 💁🏽

Starting with my hair... 

For those who follow my Instagram account (username jessduffyx), will have seen plenty of photos of my hair (girl loves a selfie). My hair is naturally brown but is currently an ombré honey blonde. I have had my hair every colour and style under the sun but I am probably the happiest I have ever been with my hair. I've been growing my hair for about 4 years now after deciding to go for a pixi crop so my hair is finally at a length and colour that I am happy with. I am fortunate enough that my mum used to be a hairdresser when she was younger, and although techniques have changed (she still wants to highlight my hair with a cap) she is pretty good at colouring and trimming my hair which has come in handy. I'll upload a post this week of what I use and my hair after I've had it coloured. 

Holiday nails 

I have had acrylic nails for the last three or so years, non stop up until recently as I just haven't found the time, or funds to keep on top of them.  I have naturally really short and soft nails and just feel so much nicer with my nails done. I usually always get nude, stiletto nails but since it is my summer holiday, I fancy a change. I love coral nails, especially the last photo of Sarah Ashcrofts coral nails, so have decided to go for a similar colour this week when I get them done. I'm booked in on Tuesday so may change my mind by then! 

Eyebrows 

So you may have seen in some of my previous posts that I have mentioned that I am currently growing my eyebrows and have been for the last 6 weeks, hopefully all for a good cause! I'm booked in on Thursday so finally sort these crazy brows out and get my first pair of HD brows. I have always had my eyebrows threaded and tinted but have decided to take the plunge for HDs. 

After a week of well needed preparation, I will be more than ready to go away on my holiday. I will try upload the posts as the days go on, that's if I can find the time to upload inbetween sipping cocktails and topping up my tan. Hopefully I will get done a mix of travel blogs and outfit posts so keep your eyes peeled 👀
