Holiday Essentials | What I'm packing & why

So today I have spent my afternoon packing for my holiday which is only a week away. I am no where near finished but I have managed to sort through my stuff of what I intend to pack. I do however have some items which I am definitely not leaving home without, my holiday essentials.

Urban Decay Naked 3

So I'm sure like most girls, I have all 3 naked pallets and use them daily, however I think Naked 3 is my favourite for the golden, shimmery & pinky tones which are perfect for summer. I am undoubtedly going to be over in luggage allowance so I have to be pretty strict and just take this one.

I wish I could explain how AMAAAAZING this smells. It's a Garnier after sun with melon extracts and it really does smell good enough to eat (if you like melon of course). It's lovely and cooling onto hot skin and also contains aloe Vera so perfect for after a day in the sun.

The infamous Original Source shower gels. Again these smell amazing and I particularly love this on for holiday and I think it's refreshing and actually leaves your skin smelling amazing even after you've finished showering.

I don't wear a lot of makeup on holiday, for one it's always far too hot for layers and layers of makeup and my skin is usually looking pretty lovely and bronzed, so these three are usually all I wear on a night. The primer evens out my skin tone reducing red patches with bronzer and highlight on top for that perfect sun kissed look.

We all have our favourite sun tan lotions and I swear by Hawaiian Tropic because their smells instantly reminds me of summer. I love the texture of their oils and how they leave your skin feeling. The bottle says water resistant, and it really is! A few bottles will last me the whole holiday. I have naturally darker skin and tan really easy on holiday however my face does usually dry out and sometimes peel. I do usually use a higher factor on my face, again a Hawaiian tropic one, which I've found often strops me from peeling!

I LOVE these lashes. I usually use eyelure natural looking lashes but upon discovering these very similar ones in Primark for £1, I instantly stocked up. I usually just keep my sunglasses on during the day, with a little waterproof mascara on my eyes, but on a night I like to pop a natural pair of lashes on, and these ones are perfect!

  1. I love this list. Is the Garnier product for after sun?? It says that in the packaging. I have never thought to put on something like that after sun exposure but it sounds like a great idea!!

    1. It does say it is after sun so perfect for holiday but I do tend to use it all the time. I just love to use it any time because it just smells and feels so so good!
