For those of you who have me on Twitter , you will have seen that I have woke up this morning and I am a woman on a mission. I usually work Saturday mornings so I'm up at the crack of dawn, usually moping around until I start work at 9, however this morning was a little bit different. I have plans, and lots of them.
I usually have the greatest intentions and plans that I want to do and achieve but I have found from past experience, that I am brilliant at saying I'm going to do something and then not actually following it through. This isn't a very good mentality to have, trust me.
So for the first time, I'm actually going to start planning my ideas and putting them into action. I am a big believer of 'what is meant to be will be', but there is nothing wrong to aspire for something a little outside of your usual lines.
The best thing to keep me organised, surprisingly enough, is a diary. If I have an idea, or make plans, I find it best to jot it down. If it's there written in black and white, I kind of feel that I have to get it done, because there is noooo way I can cross it out and ignore that it was never written there.... as silly as that sounds. I love the feeling of organisation, and I have been anything but organised recently so today is the day I have decided to make some changes.
Now I'm not saying this is going to miraculously change my life, that I'm going to achieve everything that I set out to do and that I'm never going to give up on anything ever again, but having a positive outlook will help and will hopefully make me happier overall.
Having plans, aims and goals in life can help you aspire for more and actually following through these can make big changes. Whether it's to be nicer or to aspire for a new career or hobby the outcome will be positive.
A positive mind is everything and today is one of those days for me.
:)
