I'm actually quite shocked I haven't done a post on false eyelashes sooner because I am such a huge fan of them. I honestly think if it was acceptable, I would wear them every day. I naturally have really short, straight, thin eyelashes, people say this comes from not looking after them, picking at your mascara and things but I have honestly always had these little stumpy lashes! So anyone who is naturally gifted, grrrr! I envy you!
I am a fan of a smokey eye and wear eye makeup every day which sometimes manages to disguise my very poor excuses of eyelashes even more, so falsies are my go to, especially on a night out or occasion. I think it's fair to say I would verge on cancelling a night out if I didn't have any to hand. Which sounds dramatic, but fortunately this is never a problem because my house is always stocked with multiple pairs.
I love a natural wispy lash, ones that could be used for day or night wear. I've found that big heavy eyelashes need to be worn with heavy eyeliner to help them blend in which isn't always the look I want. Obviously fake eyelashes aren't natural but I am forever in search for pairs that look as 'real' as possible.
I've found some that I like in the past but when shopping recently I spotted these 'girls with attitude' lashes and picked up a pair to give them a go. I wore them yesterday and they are my new favourites! They lasted all day, did not fall off or peel up at the edges and I have even managed to wear them again today with a lot less makeup on and they still look really natural. I even popped and picked up another two pairs to add to my collection!
They are available at most drug stores or you can order online at girlswithattitude.co.uk where a much larger selection is available.
I must admit I am a bit of a eyelash pro and can apply them so quickly now because I'm so used to them but they were really soft and easy to apply. I did not use the glue that was included in the eyelashes as I swear by the eyelure one so unfortunately can't say how much use the glue is.
At a very purse friendly £2.99, why not pick up a pair to give them a go!
